in the financial area. Coordinates and carries out the general financial
accounting of the company with specific responsibilities in system
compliance, cost analysis and accuracy of detail by performing the
following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Participates in
training to produce a quality product / services, uses preventative
measures to ensure the customer requirements and Tenneco standards are
met. Comply with legal and other requirements to avoid injury and/or ill
health to themselves and others. Understands preventative measures and
creates a safe and healthy environment by having the ability to identify
potential emergency situations and reports all incidents to supervisor/
manager. Adhere to the facility\'s quality, environmental, health and
safety policies that are identified by the Quality, Environmental Health
and Safety Management systems. Position is responsible for performing
basic professional accounting activities including posting, summarizing,
reconciling, auditing, ledger maintenance, statement and/or report
preparatio Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial
information and prepare financial reports. Manages accounts payable and
the cash process Ensuring compliance with accounting standards,
regulations, and company policies. Compiles and analyzes financial
information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger
