Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with a strong background in architecture, engineering, or construction management. This role requires a passionate individual who is eager to learn and adapt in the fast-paced environment of pharma/life sciences construction projects.

Responsibilities

Lead preconstruction activities including scheduling, budgeting, and procurement.

Manage buyouts and work collaboratively with subcontractors to ensure project scope is clearly defined.

Oversee project management and construction supervision for projects ranging from $5 million to $40 million, with potential involvement in larger projects up to $400 million.

Coordinate change orders and cost analysis to maintain budget integrity.

Conduct site development and manage project coordination, pricing, bidding, and RFIs.

Ensure successful delivery of projects through effective leadership and communication.

Essential Skills

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management, or equivalent.

5-10 years of experience in construction project management.

Proficiency in preconstruction, scheduling, budgets, buyouts, and scope of work.

Experience in pharmaceutical construction projects is essential.

Familiarity with project management software such as Procore and ACC.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Proven ability to lead and manage large teams, including subcontractors.

Intermediate understanding of all core engineering disciplines.

Successful track record as a Project Manager in construction.

Minimum of 8 hours of leadership/supervisory training annually.

Work Environment

This position requires office work, with a five-day work week at the office. You will be part of a collaborative team within a national organization that maintains a small company feel.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $150000.00/hr.
