Seeking a Construction Biller for a Refrigeration Systems Manufacturer!!

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Biller to join our dynamic team. This role involves accounting, AP/AR, billing, invoicing, and requires construction experience. Candidates should be highly detail-oriented, with proficiency in the AS400 system and Windows-based systems. Strong communication and grammar skills are essential for updating invoices within government systems. We welcome applications from new graduates and emphasize the importance of job tenure.

Responsibilities

Assist in the initiation and tracking of contract projects to ensure compliance and successful completion dates.

Prepare invoices for billing and any additional documentation required for billing purposes.

Process invoices and validate them according to project contract documentation.

Gather and record information to assist with process compliance monitoring.

Initiate, process, and track the progress of contracting business unit claims.

Initiate documents for purchase orders, subcontracts, and change orders.

Coordinate with customers on contract documentation including tax documents, purchase orders, and general information.

Essential Skills

Experience in billing, customer service, and invoice processing.

Proficiency in Adobe and Excel.

Construction experience, which can include data entry and customer service.

Strong computer skills.

Attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

Experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Proficiency in invoicing and customer service.

Work Environment

This is a Contract-to-Hire (CTH) position, requiring 100% onsite work for the initial 90 days, after which remote work is possible for up to 2 days a week. You will be part of a team of 15, with working hours from either 8 AM to 5 PM or 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, three weeks of vacation upon hire, six holidays plus additional days off, three sick days, a 401k plan, life insurance, and short and long-term disability.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
