Seize your opportunity to make a personal impact as a Salesforce Product Owner supporting the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Federal Services System Support and Oversight (FSSSO) program. Our work depends on Salesforce Product Owner with a Consultant Mindset to lead the evolution of our Salesforce platform. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring the Salesforce ecosystem delivers maximum value to the organization. You'll approach problems strategically, ask the right questions, challenge the status quo, and align platform capabilities with business goals. You will be required to perform several diverse functions, from participating and contributing to technical tasks to leading development and infrastructure projects across the FSSSO program's enterprise. This is more than just a product role - it's a strategic partnership role at the heart of our digital transformation.

HOW A SALESFORCE PRODUCT OWNER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Maintain the Salesforce product roadmap, prioritizing enterprise features, enhancements, new products, and tools based on business value
Act as the voice of the customer and key liaison between business users, IT teams, and Salesforce developers
Elicit and document requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and data analysis
Translate complex business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications
Collaborate with Salesforce admins, developers, testers and solution architects and provide programmatic expertise through all phases to deliver scalable solutions
Lead enterprise backlog grooming, sprint planning, and user acceptance testing, ensuring proper bandwidth utilization, timely ticket resolution and compliance
Ensure the clarity, accuracy, and efficiency of the program's technical processes and documentation, including standard operating procedures and workflows, process and email templates, monthly architectural updates, System Design Document (SDD), semi-annual security testing documentation, and Technical Review Board (TRB) documentation
Document and manage meeting minutes, action items and blockers, ensuring timely completion and appropriate follow-up

REQUIRED QUALIFICIATIONS:
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role, having supported Application Programming Interface (APIs), system integrations, and/or data exchange
In-depth experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools, including Jira and Confluence
Hands-on technical experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Experience Cloud and/or Lightening Components
Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Experience leading large teams, managing work and action items for 7+ projects simultaneously, with the ability to prioritize and adjust rapidly to shifts in priorities
Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical topics to various stakeholders, management levels, and non-technical audiences, and to independently lead various development and architecture meetings, such as weekly development team meetings, exploration deep dives, and ad-hoc architecture and technical calls
Ability to gather and analyze information skillfully and develop alternative solutions, resolving issues with minimal oversight
Experience working with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) or similar federal agency within the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)
General understanding of CMS Section 508 compliance requirements
Consistent quality performance rated valued or higher
Candidate must have resided in the U.S. 3 out of the last 5 years
Candidate must be willing and able to obtain a CMS Public Trust clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICIATIONS:
Active Salesforce certification(s)
Hands-on experience with Snowflake, AWS and OWN
Hands-on experience developing automation testing scripts
Experience with software DevSecOps/DevOps pipeline processes and tools

The likely salary range for this position is $106,250 - $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
