In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth processing and management of financial transactions. Key Responsibilities

Invoice Processing: Promptly and accurately process and verify invoices, ensuring compliance with policies and deadlines.

Data Entry: Record all relevant financial documentation with precision.

Accounts Maintenance: Maintain detailed accounts payable records using SAP (ERP software) and quickly resolve any discrepancies.

Account Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor accounts, review transactions, and prepare payment batches for timely processing.

Collaboration: Work alongside internal teams and vendors to address inquiries and resolve payment or account-related issues efficiently.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.

Technical Expertise: Proficiency in SAP, with experience in additional systems such as Sage, Oracle, and advanced-level Excel.

Attention to Detail: Exceptional data entry skills with a strong focus on accuracy.

Problem Solving: Ability to investigate and resolve account discrepancies professionally and quickly.

Work Ethic: Thrives in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Skills

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is considered an asset.

Experience working with ERP systems in mid to large-scale organizations.

Requirements - Minimum of 2+ years of experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist.

Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, Sage, and Oracle.

Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Familiarity with invoice coding and general accounts payable operations.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Effective communication abilities for interacting with vendors and internal teams.

Advanced knowledge of Excel for reporting and reconciliation tasks.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
