Our canine group, under Allied Universal® Enhanced Protection Services, is hiring a Sales Coordinator. The Sales Coordinator will provide essential sales operations and direct client and administrative support for the sales team. This individual will be responsible for the efficient handling of sales orders, as well as customer inquiries and service requests. This position will support field sales representatives and sales management, helping them enhance productivity. This position will also involve the direct management of transactional clients, not specifically assigned to a field sales representative. The support provided should improve the quality of customer service, customer retention, and the attainment of sales targets and goals. This individual will also be asked by sales management to manage projects directly related to the management of opportunities or the efficient functioning of the sales organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Engage directly with selected clients to independently handle special requests for services from initial contact through closure and service delivery; ensure event is properly staffed from operations, purchase order is completed, follow up to determine client satisfaction, etc.
Liaise with operations and finance to vet the opportunity and secure approval for any special conditions
Liaise between internal and external departments, managing complete contract renewal process
Manage the client expectations accordingly and exercise judgement on when/how to escalate concerns or challenges
Monitor client satisfaction and engage as necessary to address any issues/concerns
Develop working knowledge of specific clients; identify potential areas where upselling may be possible
Provide expert-level advice to sales representatives, working on more detailed RFPs, quotes, or gathering relevant information, that may enhance the probability of a sale or an increased sale
Handle calls or emails from designated customers; engage appropriate areas (Operations, IT, Sales, etc.) to resolve issues or raise awareness
Handle routine requests from customers, such as requests for price quotes, contract terms, additional services, etc.
Conduct client management activities including the development of and presentation of Client Business Reviews, reporting of KPI metrics, analysis of possible future threats, etc.)
Process sales orders that reach the company by telephone, email, or website
Process/create orders generated by sales representatives or account managers
Input and check orders entered by sales personnel to ensure that details such as items, prices, addresses, service dates, billing details, contract records, etc. are correct
Contact customers to resolve any questions or issues and/or to obtain any information that is missing
Enter order details into the NetSuite CRM after confirming the ability to execute with the appropriate operations representative
Check that delivery and contact details are correct and update customer records with any changes
Ensure that operations personnel have all information necessary to execute the order
Create and maintain records for new and existing customers in the NetSuite CRM including but not limited to, contact details and the name of the sales representative or account manager managing the account
Proactively update the records with details of new orders and/or customer contacts
Provide direct support to Director, Sales Operations, and sales management
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum of one (1) year of sales administration or sales operations experience
Ability to exhibit professionalism while dealing with tough internal as well as external customers
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent multitasker with the ability to prioritize multiple projects
Must be proficient in computer programs including Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Outlook, and have an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel with the ability to create pivot tables, V-Lookup, inputting formulas, etc.
Detail oriented and thorough with all administrative tasks
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in sales or purchasing and prior experience using NetSuite or a comparable CRM platform
