The Director of Human Resources is an onsite role who is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing and implementing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization.
Job Title: Director of Human Resources
Location: onsite in Winsted, MN
Salary Range: $132,000 - $165,000 per year (Exempt role)

As a Director of Human Resources, you will:
Lead and execute HR initiatives that clearly reflect and reinforce the company's mission, values, and long-term vision
Design and align HR strategies and plans to effectively support the organization's operational and business objectives
Maintain relationships with operations leaders to enable proactive support to our shop floor employees through effective HR Business partners and a collaborative approach
Serve as a strategic advisor to executive and senior leadership on key organizational and talent-related matters
Collaborate with executive leadership to create and implement a robust succession planning framework aligned with the company's goals and growth strategy in alignment with our VTO
Formulate and drive strategic recruitment and employee retention initiatives to fulfill the company's talent needs and support long-term success
Design and manage competitive, sustainable compensation and benefits programs that align with organizational priorities and financial goals
Stay current on industry trends, regulatory developments, and advancements in HR technology and employment law to ensure compliance
Role Qualifications as a Director of Human Resources:
A minimum of fifteen (15) years of HR experience including recruitment, employee relations, and compensation, with at least five (5) years of leadership experience in a Manufacturing setting
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
Must have the ability to build strong relationships with diverse workforce and understand their unique needs and challenges
BS in Human Resources
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred
