The Senior Digital Marketing Specialist - Merchandising will play a pivotal role in crafting and optimizing the digital merchandising experience across multiple brand websites. This individual will lead the strategy and execution of online merchandising initiatives that increase traffic, improve conversion rates, and enhance the consumer journey. How You'll Create Possibilities
Key Responsibilities
Lead Digital Merchandising Strategy Develop and execute a comprehensive digital merchandising strategy across multiple brand websites to drive consumer engagement, online growth, conversion, and retention.
Optimize Onsite Experience Improve the web commerce experience by optimizing brand storytelling, product presentation, site navigation, sorting rules, bundling strategies, and cross-sell/up-sell opportunities.
Search Optimization Own and enhance the onsite search experience to improve content discoverability and relevance across all platforms.
New Product Launches Partner with the Acquisition Lead to seamlessly introduce new products online, ensuring strategic placement and impactful digital support.
Consumer Experience & Content Strategy Translate brand and marketing objectives into intuitive, engaging, and conversion-focused digital experiences. Develop content strategies that bring each brand's identity to life on-site.
Performance Analysis & Reporting Track, analyze, and report on KPIs such as site traffic, conversion rate, bounce rate, average order value, and search performance. Leverage insights to inform continuous improvement.
Workflow & Project Management Manage internal requests through JIRA, organize cross-functional meetings, and ensure projects progress smoothly from initiation through launch.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Lead and coordinate with internal teams-including Digital, Brand, Advertising, Product, IT, UX, Sales, and Legal-along with agency partners to align strategy and execution across all digital touchpoints.
Ecommerce Trends & Continuous Improvement Stay current on digital merchandising trends and ecommerce best practices. Lead ongoing website enhancements that drive performance and innovation.
SEO & SEM Alignment Understand and support Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) efforts to maximize organic and paid performance.
Leadership Communication Drive regular performance updates and insights to key stakeholders and senior leadership, ensuring visibility and alignment on initiatives and results.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
5+ years of digital merchandising or ecommerce experience
Proven ability to manage KPIs, sales targets, and merchandising performance metrics
Experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and ecommerce platforms
Strong project management and organizational skills; experience managing agency and vendor relationships
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments in a matrixed environment
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or related discipline
Experience managing multiple brands in an omni-channel retail or consumer environment
Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including paid media, SEO, and content marketing
Strategic thinker with a bias for action and a passion for user experience and data-driven decision-making
Strong presentation skills with the ability to influence and gain alignment at all levels
Experience working in agile or iterative development environments
High level of initiative and entrepreneurial mindset
Proven track record of delivering successful merchandising programs and measurable business outcomes
