Summary You will serve as a INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the WOLF SOF C5ISR SYSTEMS ENGINEERING BRANCH of NAWCAD WEBSTER OUTLYING FIELD. Responsibilities You will deliver C5ISR solutions to Navy, other DoD, and other Federal agencies on small and large craft, commercial and militarized vehicles, and mobile communications. You will provide personnel, processes, and facilities required to support the project portfolio. You will provide the engineering and technical expertise required for developing and sustaining SOF C5ISR systems for SOF unique craft, vehicular, transit case, base station and command center C5ISR systems. You will provide technical expertise and IT support for C5ISR system design, development, integration, test, acquisition and sustainment in support of SOF vehicular platforms, such as the Family of Special Operations Vehicles (FOSOV) Program. You will apply expert knowledge of Communications Capabilities/Operations and comprehension of RF and IT technologies to allocate resources and develop execution strategies to meet program and project requirements. You will apply expert knowledge of C5ISR technologies to develop sponsor requested systems, support strategies and technical resources. You will continuously monitor and assesses emerging technologies, changing operational requirements, higher level mandates, and NAWCAD corporate goals and objectives. You will develop and maintain technical documentation and briefing materials to ensure effective systems engineering, program management, stakeholder communication, and sustainment efforts of developed systems. You will execute and supports testing and training events for SOF C5ISR vehicular platform systems, ensuring applicable requirements are being met and end users are able to effectively employ fielded systems. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11/12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing system engineering direction and technical leadership to engineers, technicians, and IT professionals; 2) Implementing and managing the execution of rapid integration projects involving of Command, Control, Communications, Computer and Combat Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems, computer networks, IT systems and related A/V and electronic systems; 3) Leading technical innovation and organizational change to adapt with industry growth in technology; 4) Coordinating with strategic leaders and tactical partners in addition to industry to develop immediate and future solutions for the warfighter; 5) Providing technical engineering mentorship and project management direction to subordinates and other professionals..
