Were looking for aMarketing Consultantwho understands the value of community-based marketing and wants to help businesses succeed through creative, multi-platform campaigns. With this role you will establish and grow our presence in our new radio market. This role is a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to lead sales efforts, build client relationships, and develop a territory.

This position is in our Maryville, MO market with station KBCT, as well as our online news service the Maryville Post.

Position Summary:

As aMarketing Consultantin Maryville, youll work directly with local business owners, organizations, and regional advertisers to develop and sell strategic marketing campaigns. This role requires a motivated, people-oriented individual who thrives on building relationships and creating solutions that matter in a small-town setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop strong relationships with new and existing advertisers in the Maryville and Northwest Missouri area.

Identify business needs and present tailored marketing strategies using a mix of radio, digital, social media, streaming, and community events.

Prospect for new business through in-person visits, networking events, university partnerships, and local engagement.

Maintain regular face-to-face client meetings to discuss campaign performance and growth opportunities.

Stay actively involved in the community to understand market trends and represent Eagle at community events.

Qualifications:

1-3 years of outside sales, marketing, or media experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate with strong interpersonal skills and a local connection).

Strong connection to Maryville/Nodaway County is a plus.

Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.

A community-first mindset with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships.

Self-driven, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle required.

Salary:

Compensation is commensurate with experience along with a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid vacation and ESOP (employee stock ownership plan).
