Entry to developing individual contributor, who works under close supervision. Serves as the subject matter expert on the product management strategy and provides comprehensive knowledge on market performance and product trends. Acts as a thought leader on product development and drives data driven solutions to stakeholders and consumers. Leverages analytics and reporting to help develop go-to-market strategies for new products.
Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated, high-performing and accountable individual with initial medtech marketing experience who wishes to advance their early career by serving in a marketing coordinator position on a technology that is changing the cardiovascular landscape. The primary focus will be contributing to key functions within the marketing team to meet the department's strategic objectives. While contributing to the execution of the marketing programs, this individual will also benefit from exposure to all of the different facets of omnichannel marketing in today's digital-first world. The ideal candidate desires to be part of one of the most exciting startups in the cardiovascular space at the inflection point of commercialization. This is a growth role that will be vital to the marketing team's and company's success. Must be able to travel up to 35%.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate on and execute the planning, development and distribution of marketing collateral to the sales team
Establish and maintain relationships with 3rd party vendors and media suppliers
Respond to website inquires and triage time sensitive leads to sales reps
Analyze social media conversations about Shockwave and competitive technology
Track and analyze website performance via Google Analytics
Develop content for website, blog, and social media channels
Assist in the development of the quarterly customer-focused newsletter summarizing key milestones
Manage marketing finances, tracking program budgets and measuring success of key initiatives
Develop an in-depth knowledge of cardiology community trends and recommend opportunities
Maintain sales enablement platform with currently approved content
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, public relations, communications, or a related field OR equivalent experience
Ability to collaborate and work with others in a dynamic, matrix environment
Outstanding interpersonal skills including developing relationships in all levels of the organization and indirectly influencing business objectives
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as individual contributor or as part of team, while managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing requirements
Salesforce and HubSpot engagement experience preferred
There may be continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8-hour day)
Employee may be required to lift objects up to 25lbs or more. Employees will be required to work in an air-conditioned office space and possibly perform some tasks in our non-temperature controlled warehouse space.

The Company maintains a highly competitive sales incentive compensation program. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for participation in this program in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.
This position is eligible for a car allowance through the Company's Fleet program

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
