What You'll do
The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of solar assets during the construction phase of the project. Most of their solar assets will have debt and tax equity financing. They will be expected to have ownership over their assets and be the main point person for the project accounts and reporting.

Duties and responsibilities
Management Accounts
Responsible to produce monthly management accounts
Reconcile account balances, maintain the general ledger, and perform month-end close duties
Ensure all underlying accounting records are maintained in accordance business policies
Work closely with our internal business partners to ensure all relevant information requests are delivered accurately and within agreed timescales
Construction Finance Operations
Business partner with relevant members of the construction team to understand monthly cash needs, and work with accounts payable to ensure all construction invoices are paid in a timely manner.
Maintain cash flow of project by drawing down debt and equity through construction and equity draws. Produce required relevant documentation for debt draws and monthly payments.
Work to gain an understanding of the commercial aspects of the financing agreements and how they translate to accounting.
Account for financing activities, including any complex tax equity and debt transactions as they relate to the project's financings.
Produce accurate monthly data sets that can be used to facilitate forecasts of future spend.
Lender Obligations and Reporting
Responsible for producing any unaudited financial statements as part of lender obligations during major financing events which occur during construction
Audit and Tax
Prepare of all schedules and supporting information required for year-end audit procedures
Assist in the preparation of schedules for quarterly tax payments, and year end corporate returns
Liaise with the external auditors and tax advisors as required
Play a major role in driving the completion of the audits as they relate to their relevant project assets
General day to day activity
Take a hands-on approach where required, staying adaptable and resilient
Take ownership and pride in the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of financial information
Taking an analytic approach to all tasks at hand, and providing insight to help in
Maintain a close relationship with the rest of the US ARC and Global ARC teams
Who we're looking for
Knowledge
The ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment interfacing with internal teams and external clients.
Ability to produce management accounts and analysis over a high volume of legal entities
Qualifications
CPA preferred
US GAAP and IFRS knowledge
Ability to organize workload and prioritize to maximum effect
Excellent attention to detail when checking information with an ability to recognize and question anomalies
Set high standards of performance for yourself
Demonstrate excellent MS Excel skills
Experience
7-10 years of experience in a global company ideally with renewable energy, project infrastructure and/or manufacturing experience
Experience with accounting and reporting systems
Experience with tax equity preferred
Experience with accounts consolidation desired
Experience working with a global company
SAP experience preferred
Audit experience preferred
EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A GLOBAL COMPANY DESIRABLE

We offer
Competitive compensation: $110,000 to $125,000 annually plus a discretionary 20% annual bonus.
