Description We are looking for a skilled Financial Accountant to join our team in Livonia, Michigan. In this role, you will handle key accounting tasks, including data analysis and financial reporting, while collaborating closely with a dynamic and supportive team environment. This position offers an opportunity to leverage your expertise in finance and accounting to drive impactful results.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze financial data to create clear and visually appealing reports using advanced Excel techniques.

Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.

Assist in maintaining financial records for non-profit accounting purposes.

Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting requirements.

Utilize Excel formulas and functions to process and present data effectively.

Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities to support organizational goals.

Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and standards.

Provide input and recommendations for improving overall accounting practices. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

At least 1 year of accounting experience, including internships.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly in creating formulas and managing data.

Familiarity with non-profit accounting practices is preferred.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Ability to reconcile accounts and manage financial data accurately.

Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members.

Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote-friendly environment.
