Staff Accountant

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Van Nuys, California. In this role, you will manage key financial processes and ensure the accuracy of accounting records. The ideal candidate will have expertise in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.

Responsibilities:

Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.

Perform bank reconciliations to verify and maintain financial accuracy.

Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and account adjustments.

Support month-end closing procedures by preparing reports and reconciling accounts.

Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP to streamline financial operations.

Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

Collaborate with team members to improve accounting workflows and processes.

Prepare documentation and reports for audits and compliance reviews.

Maintain adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.

Proficiency in accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP.

Strong understanding of bank reconciliation processes and journal entries.

Familiarity with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting.

Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Effective communication skills for presenting financial insights and reports.
