Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support various financial operations within our client's organization. The role involves assisting in data gathering, content commitments, and managing content asset planning systems. You will play a vital role in forecasting, quarter close activities, and IS&T projects, contributing to the improvement of financial processes and systems.

Responsibilities

Assist in gathering data and support all content commitments, including deal terms, budgets, breakages, and scheduling maintained in the content asset planning system.

Aid in content slate forecasting, focusing on title composition and amortization for monthly forecasting cycles and long-range plans.

Contribute to quarter close activities related to content accruals, amortization, allocations, and disclosures.

Participate in IS&T projects to implement and enhance financial systems.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in their implementation.

Support ad hoc requests and projects as needed.

Essential Skills

5+ years of experience in accounting or contract reviews.

Education in accounting or a finance-related field.

Proficiency in accounting, general ledger, reconciliation, and month-end processes.

Experience with journal entries, forecasting, financial reporting, contract review, and analysis.

Strong understanding of accruals and amortization.

Experience in the Entertainment/Media industry, specifically direct Film / T&V FP&A experience.

Work Environment

This position requires a hybrid work schedule, with three days onsite (Tuesday through Thursday).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $82.28 - $82.28/hr.
