Job Title:

Manufacturing Engineer Location: Onsite - Anaheim, CA Compensation: $75,000 - $110,000 annually Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking a driven and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to lead process development, machine programming, and continuous improvement initiatives within our production operations. In this onsite role, youll work hands-on with advanced fabrication technologies and cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing systems, reduce costs, and elevate product quality. This is a key opportunity to help shape the future of precision manufacturing in a dynamic, innovation-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Process Design and Optimization

Develop, refine, and implement scalable manufacturing processes to improve quality, efficiency, and throughput across production lines.

Machine Programming and Planning

Perform planning engineering tasks, including programming of CNC lasers, press brakes, and Hurco machines. Must be able to write and edit G-code for machining operations and use PEP for production planning.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with production, QA, project management, and engineering teams to align process improvements with business goals and customer needs.

Technology Implementation

Evaluate and integrate new technologies and equipment that enhance production capabilities and support innovation.

Troubleshooting and Support

Identify and resolve production bottlenecks or equipment-related issues in real-time, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.

Data-Driven Improvements

Use metrics and analysis to monitor process performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.

Documentation and SOPs

Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.

Continuous Improvement

Lead Lean, Six Sigma, or other CI initiatives to drive improvements in cost, delivery, and quality.

Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Experience

Minimum of 3 years in manufacturing engineering, with hands-on experience in metal fabrication or a related industry.

Technical Skills

Must be proficient in programming Hurco machines and writing G-code.

Experience operating or programming CNC lasers and press brakes.

Familiarity with PEP and ERP systems.

Proficient in CAD and CAM software.

Certifications (Preferred)

Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related process improvement certifications.

Soft Skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
