The Facilities Technician performs a wide range of facilities services tasks, including non-technical maintenance of plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning facilities and equipment, at a level not requiring formal licensure. The individual in this role may be required to perform tasks of other unlicensed trades, such as a light equipment operator, carpenter, painter, and/or locksmith. This position is required to be on-site 5 days a week.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Minor repairs on office furniture;

Hang pictures/photos and set up offices/work areas for attorneys and staff alike;

Install appliances and other equipment; coordinate shredding program (requires moving large bins of paper);

Move office furnishings and contents during renovations and office moves; and

May occasionally perform cleaning activities (dusting, mopping, etc.) and other general maintenance in all offices of the firm.

Knowledge & Skills

Must be a self-starter who is motivated and excels in customer service;

Solid communication skills including verbal and written

Basic computer skills within Microsoft suite and Outlook

Additional Information

Individual in this position will provide additional assistance and support as directed by their supervisor.

A candidate must be able to do the following:

? Must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to drive locally and out of state for intra-office deliveries as well as delivery of trial documents to courts;

? Ability to climb a ladder and lift up to 50 lbs. (this could include office furniture);

? Flexibility to travel to other offices of the Firm (at times out of state) and with some overnight stays required;

Airline travel occasionally

Work periodic overtime (including weekends) for a business need
