Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

Analyze and optimize workforce utilization, production workflows, and equipment layouts to maximize manufacturing efficiency and minimize waste.

Design or modify equipment and workspace layouts to enhance production flow and space utilization.

Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to support management decision making and ensure project timelines and budgets are met.

Effectively communicate manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and technical specifications to internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth production operations.

Collaborate with vendors to define product specifications, procure equipment and materials, and manage part orders to support production requirements.

Ensure timely delivery of materials and components to avoid production delays.

Evaluate products, materials, and processes to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

Implement corrective actions when necessary to address any quality issues in production.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for production processes, specifications, and improvements.

Ensure all records are compliant with company and industry standards.

Adhere to 5S standards and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.

Essential Skills

Degree in Engineering

Experience in Manufacturing Engineering, continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Work Instructions

Process Engineering and Six Sigma expertise

Tooling and Industrial Engineering knowledge

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $43.00/hr.
