Description

We are looking for an experienced Part Time Paralegal to join our team in West Palm Beach, Florida. This is a Contract position with the potential to transition into a permanent role based on performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation and personal injury law, with excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Prepare, draft, and review legal documents such as motions, interrogatories, and discovery materials.

Manage case files and maintain accurate records using case management software such as Clio or MyCase.

Coordinate calendars and schedule meetings, court dates, and deadlines effectively.

Handle e-filing and ensure compliance with court requirements.

Assist attorneys in preparing for litigation by gathering and organizing evidence and documentation.

Conduct legal research and summarize findings to support case strategy.

Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders to ensure case progress.

Monitor timelines and ensure all deadlines are met without delay.

Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless case management.

Support personal injury litigation processes, including drafting correspondence and managing client files.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably in litigation or personal injury law.

Proficiency in case management software such as Clio or MyCase.

Strong understanding of e-filing procedures and legal documentation.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple deadlines.

Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

Familiarity with discovery processes, interrogatories, and drafting legal motions.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.

This is 20-30 hours a week with the potential to go full time.
