Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Part-time Administrative Assistant to support daily operations in an efficient setting. Based in Princeton, New Jersey, this long-term contract position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team by managing administrative tasks effectively and ensuring smooth organizational processes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

Schedule and coordinate meetings, including reserving meeting rooms, preparing agendas, and sending timely reminders.

Manage video conferencing platforms, ensuring seamless virtual meeting experiences and resolving technical issues.

Sort and distribute incoming mail efficiently while handling outgoing mail, including postage and courier services.

Maintain office supply inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and negotiating vendor pricing for cost-effective procurement.

Provide general administrative support to team members, adapting to various needs and priorities.

Keep records and files organized and accessible, ensuring both electronic and physical documentation is maintained.

Assist in data entry tasks with precision and attention to detail to support departmental needs.

Utilize Microsoft Word for creating, editing, and formatting documents as required.

Requirements - Proven experience in administrative support or a similar role.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other office software tools.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Familiarity with scheduling meetings and managing virtual conferencing platforms.

Attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in data entry and record-keeping.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to monitor and manage office supply inventory efficiently.
