Electrical Assembler - Denton, Tx

$20/hr - 1st Shift

Job Description

As an Electrical Assembler, you will integrate electrical components, subassemblies, products, and systems into various configurations efficiently. This role requires proficiency in reading tape measures to 1/8th inch, following verbal, written, and pictorial instructions, interpreting electrical schematics, and using hand tools.

Responsibilities

Mount and assemble electrical components such as transformers, contactors, relays, and controllers, demonstrating knowledge of good practices in workmanship and wire routing.

Assemble and attach hardware such as caps, clamps, knobs, and switches.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

Ability to read a tape measure to 1/8th inch.

Ability to follow verbal, written, and pictorial instructions.

Ability to interpret electrical schematics.

Proficiency in using hand tools.

Knowledge in assembly, electrical, schematic, mechanical assembly, electronic assembly, production, and blueprint.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

1-3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Environment

The role is conducted in a manufacturing setting with exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, and vibrations. Occasionally, you may be exposed to high, precarious places. The noise level is usually moderate. Work hours are from 6 AM to 2:30 PM on the 1st shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
