Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Worcester, Massachusetts. In this role, you will handle a variety of financial and accounting responsibilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities:

Manage daily accounting operations, including billing, expenditures, and financial reporting, in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.

Collaborate with the Controller to assist with budgeting, cost allocation, and financial analyses.

Perform Accounts Receivable tasks, including resolving customer invoice and payment discrepancies.

Handle Accounts Payable duties, such as processing vendor payments and addressing issues as they arise.

Audit and monitor administrative AR and AP procedures to ensure best practices and accuracy.

Maintain accurate financial records within automated financial and management information systems.

Support inventory control activities and ensure accurate reporting of inventory data.

Assist in preparing financial reports,

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory reporting requirements.

Month end close, Journal entries and General ledger activities.

Requirements Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, NetSuite
