Accounting Manager/Supervisor

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to oversee and optimize financial operations within our organization. Based in Ridgeville, South Carolina, this role requires a meticulous individual with proficiency in accounting systems and a strong ability to manage financial processes effectively. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and efficient workflows.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.

Implement and maintain accounting software systems, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.

Oversee financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely submission of reports.

Coordinate auditing procedures and provide necessary documentation to external auditors.

Monitor billing functions and ensure proper invoicing practices are followed.

Utilize ERP systems to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency.

Manage financial services platforms such as ADP and Concur to ensure accurate data handling.

Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and financial integrity.

Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, fostering growth and collaboration.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance productivity. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Proven experience in accounting management, with a thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Proficiency in accounting software systems, including BlackLine and Concur.

Familiarity with ERP systems and their application in financial operations.

Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes.

Experience with auditing procedures and compliance regulations.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address financial challenges.

Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of managing and developing a team.
