Description We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Administrative Assistant to join a manufacturing company based in Orange, California. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will support the recruiting and onboarding team, playing a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient human resources processes. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, organized, and eager to contribute to a dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and approve background checks for new employees, ensuring compliance with company standards.

Monitor and follow up on new employee clinic results, ensuring candidates are eligible for employment.

Provide support to managers by addressing inquiries related to recruiting and onboarding systems.

Train newly appointed managers on recruitment and onboarding procedures to ensure seamless integration.

Track the status of onboarding candidates, ensuring timely progression into payroll systems.

Assist with scheduling and facilitating new employee orientations to familiarize employees with company policies.

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to recruitment and onboarding processes.

Utilize Office tools such as Word and Excel to create reports and manage data efficiently.

Collaborate with team members to improve HR workflows and address operational challenges. Requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

Excellent communication skills to interact with managers and new hires.

Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with onboarding and recruitment processes is preferred.

Bilingual in English and Spanish highly desired

High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation.

Entry-level experience, with a willingness to learn and grow in HR practices.
