Description We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team in Paterson, NJ. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for helping others. The role involves providing administrative and customer support in a fast-paced environment while ensuring families have a smooth relocation experience.

Responsibilities:

Assist families undergoing relocation by conducting intake assessments to determine their needs.

Collaborate with brokers and landlords to secure housing solutions for displaced families.

Facilitate the transition of families into vacant homes, ensuring smooth coordination and communication.

Collect and manage relevant information, answering inquiries regarding relocation timelines and processes.

Provide hands-on case management to streamline the relocation process for families.

Maintain a high level of organization in a fast-paced environment, adapting to fluctuating workloads.

Handle inbound and outbound telephone calls, ensuring courteous communication.

Perform accurate data entry and maintain records using Microsoft SharePoint.

Support administrative functions to ensure efficient office operations.

Act as a liaison between families and service providers to address concerns and resolve issues. Requirements - Proven experience in administrative support or customer service roles.

Proficiency in handling inbound and outbound calls with excellent phone etiquette.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Familiarity with data entry and experience using Microsoft SharePoint or similar platforms.

Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with diverse individuals.

Bilingual candidates are preferred to better serve a diverse clientele.

Experience in case management or relocation assistance is a plus.
