Job Title: Electrical Assembler II

Job Description

You will perform panel wiring or wire assembly tasks according to provided diagrams and work instructions to build control panels for HVAC fans. This involves wiring the control panel itself, screwing in pieces/terminals, and feeding wires on the backplate. You will work from written schematics and follow written procedures, responsible for measuring and cutting wire to size using small hand tools and crimpers. Additionally, you will inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards, identify and resolve any issues or defects in the assembly process, and maintain a clean and organized workstation while adhering to safety guidelines and protocols at all times.

Responsibilities

Perform panel wiring or wire assembly tasks according to diagrams and instructions.

Build control panels for HVAC fans by wiring the panel and screwing in pieces.

Work from written schematics and follow written procedures.

Measure and cut wire to size using small hand tools and crimpers.

Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure quality standards.

Identify and resolve any issues or defects in the assembly process.

Maintain a clean and organized workstation.

Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times.

Essential Skills

Assembler and wiring experience.

1+ years of electronic and assembly wiring experience

1+ years experience reading wiring diagrams or schematics.

1+ years experience wiring or assembling control panels.

Proficiency with hand tools.

High attention to detail.

Ability to see all colors.

Experience with power tools and electronic assembly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in production or manufacturing environment.

Ability to read a tape measure and cut wire to length.

Experience feeding wires.

Plug and play wiring skills.

Coil transfer experience.

Work Environment

The work environment is climate controlled, offering a comfortable and interactive workspace. You will work alongside a friendly group, in a growing, small, locally owned company where you have access to owners and C-level executives. The shift is from 7 AM to 4 PM, Monday to Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elkton, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
