Contract Litigation Paralegal

Description We are looking for a skilled Paralegal to join our team on a contract basis. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who is adept at managing legal documentation and supporting litigation processes. Based in Lindon, Utah, this role offers flexibility with part-time hours.

Responsibilities:

Organize and maintain legal documents, ensuring they are accurately filed and easily accessible.

Provide litigation support by drafting briefs, managing case files, and coordinating schedules.

Assist with document transitions and updates using legal software tools.

Handle billing functions and claim administration with precision and efficiency.

Oversee calendar management to ensure deadlines are met and appointments are properly scheduled.

Conduct research and analysis using Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) and other legal resources.

Collaborate with attorneys and team members to ensure seamless case management.

Utilize software such as Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, and CompuLaw to support daily tasks.

Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to address inquiries and provide updates. Requirements - Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Paralegal or in a similar legal support role.

Proficiency in legal software including Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, and CompuLaw.

Familiarity with case management systems and billing functions.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Knowledge of legal research tools such as ACRIS.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote, contract setting.
