Senior UX Researcher needed by Blue Yonder, Inc. in Coppell, TX.

DUTIES: Conduct in-depth user research studies to understand user behavior and preferences. Lead and manage complex research projects from start to finish, including planning, recruiting participants, conducting interviews and surveys, and analyzing data. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, product managers, and engineers, to identify research needs and provide insights for product development. Utilize a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods, such as usability testing, interviews, surveys, and analytics, to gather data and insights. Develop and maintain research plans and schedules to ensure timely delivery of research findings. Synthesize and communicate research findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner. Continuously stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UX research and incorporate them into our research processes. Act as an advocate for user-centered design within the organization and educate others on the value of UX research. Using Design Thinking principles design and develop different products, designs, and components needed for the projects across various platforms (web/mobile) keeping in mind the existing design standards and language within the company. Ability to quickly adapt and create projects collaborating with designers consistent with brand guidelines, BY's Design systems, and accessibility standards. Engage with designers and stakeholders in a dynamic environment to develop innovative Supply Chain Management (SCM) products, including AI-powered enterprise solutions. Using additional qualitative research tools such as Service blueprints, journey mapping, personas, etc to help in various projects supporting company integration, and communicating process changes, etc. Conduct thorough secondary research to study industry trends and produce educational documents or reports that enhance the knowledge of designers and cross-functional teams regarding new developments. Conduct Primary research keeping users' data privacy as the top priority without compromising BY legal guidelines. Partner with designers and project management teams to identify future research requirements, producing detailed project briefs that estimate scope and level of effort. Mentor and train junior researchers and team members on research methodologies and techniques. Contribute to the development of a robust research strategy and roadmap for the company. Collaborate with external research partners and vendors as needed to support research initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in Design Management, Product Management, UX Design, UX Research, Human-Computer Interaction, Industrial and Product Design, Psychology, Anthropology, or a related field, and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as an UX Strategist, UX Designer, UX Consultant, Product Designer, Software Developer, or a related/similar position. Experience therein to include the following:

6 years in UX Research, applying qualitative and quantitative methods to understand user behaviors, needs, and motivations; conducting competitor benchmarking and identifying gaps between current products and user aspirations; and UI/UX and research tools such as Figma, Figjam, Dovetail, Usertesting.com, Miro; and4 years investigating industry and technology trends to inform enterprise SaaS products focused on automation solutions; B2B product development processes and best practices in enterprise software design; and creating self-service tools and research documentation to scale UX research best practices.

Hybrid role, ability to work from home. Requires travel (up to 10%)
