Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Mainframe Developer- Title: Mainframe Developer Job Type: Fulltime/Contract on W2 Duration: 12+ months Locations: Minneapolis, MN - Hybrid 3 days onsite /2 days remote As a Mainframe Developer, you will: Participate in low to moderately complex technology initiatives and projects, including system installations, upgrades, and deployments. Identify and recommend improvements for service quality and availability within the technology environment. Design, code, test, debug, and document software for low to moderately complex assignments. Review and analyze technical challenges tied to low to medium-risk deliverables; evaluate and propose alternative solutions. Present recommendations to resolve issues, escalating when necessary to meet service level agreements. Exercise some independent judgment while building an understanding of relevant technology areas, especially regarding security and compliance. Collaborate with technology teams, internal partners, and stakeholders to share updates and technical insights.. The ideal candidate will have: Programming knowledge with COBOL on mainframe systems. Foundational knowledge of Assembler programming. Familiarity with EZTRIEVE. Understanding of VSAM @types and defining VSAM structures. Basic knowledge of: CICS JCL PROC Endeavor CA7 MQ Prior experience in the banking or financial services industry is preferred. Exposure to Data Space, ServiceNow, Agile methodologies, FMMVS, and basic software testing practices. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
