Compensation: $20 - $25 annually

Overview

Employee performs highly skilled maintenance, installation, repair and troubleshooting work involved with electrical system. Electrical work may be performed in a number of areas of the carshell or train. Work involves technical application of electrical principles.

Functions and responsibilities

Installs, services and repairs lighting fixtures, electrical panels, outlets and wiring.

Must have vast knowledge with electrical component plug assemblies.

Installs, repairs and services specialized electrical equipment and machinery.

Reads electrical circuit diagrams and blueprints.

Transfers primary power from one power source to another

Installs conductors, splices cable, builds terminations and does necessary hookup for primary power source.

May do other trades work incidental to electrical work.

Capable of process improvement.

Collaborate with management any issues that may arise with project.

Training and Education Required

High school diploma or graduation from a certified technical school.

Qualifications and Requirements

Two or more years of related experience.

Safety Requirements

Shall report all injuries and illnesses to their supervisor that occur at work, the day of the incident

Shall report any unsafe conditions that are identified in their respective work area to their supervisor

Shall comply with all client safety policies, procedures, and requirements that are communicated to them, including Job Safety Analysis (JSA) procedures

Shall wear all required Personal Protective Equipment that is communicated and supplied to them

Shall keep their respective work area clean and orderly at all times

Shall attend all client required training as soon as possible before the start of their assigned work

Shall NOT operate any client equipment, forklifts, cranes, scissor lifts until certified to do so

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current range is 20 per hr to 25 per hr.
