Warehouse Associate / Counter Sales - Cleburne

Two Position: Warehouse Associate and Counter Sales Associate.

Days/Hours: Business open 7:30AM - 5:30PM, TBD.

Pay:DOE

Job Duties for Warehouse Associate:

Supports the day-to-day operations of the Branch providing order and delivery services.

Responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including the receiving/shipping, storing, handling, and preparing of product for customer delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.

This is a safety-sensitive position, the ability to work in a constant state of awareness and in a safe manner is imperative.

Operate inventory control equipment, i.e., bar-coding equipment, handheld devices.

Read orders/match orders on shipping tickets to items picked.

Packing items for shipping.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

No High school diploma or GED with warehouse or distribution experience preferred.

Able to identify product by size, @type, style, color or product code.

Basic math and reasoning skills.

Ability to obtain certification of power-truck equipment.

Required read, write and speak fluent in English and Spanish a plus.

Candidates offered employment must undergo a pre-employment drug test.

Must be able to pass all these tests screens including amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamines, opiates, oxycodone, and phencyclidines, following the cutoff levels set by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to move/lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.

Able to withstand extreme temperatures in a typical warehouse environment.

Position spends a large amount of time standing, walking, lifting, pulling and pushing.

Position may require climbing of ladders for top-level selection

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Occasional lifting of up to 75

Job Duties for Counter Position:

esponsible for providing assistance to customers during the sales/purchase process and for responding to customer inquiries in a professional manner.

Maintain an awareness of all product knowledge information (including product catalogs, price sheets, etc.), product promotions and advertisements.

Markets all products sold and suggests replacement/alternative products when appropriate.

Experienced in Microsoft Word and Excel.

A minimum of one year experience in the electrical industry and/or knowledge of electrical products required.

Strong mathematical ability. Basic familiarity with the use of a personal computer.

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal formats.

Demonstrated time management and organizational skills, including an ability to plan and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Ability to work well in a team environment. Strong customer service orientation.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.

Ability to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, and telephone.

Ability to bend, climb, push, and pull, including the ability to maneuver at heights and in tight or small places.
