Description

We are looking for a skilled Financial Accountant to oversee and manage key accounting operations across month-end and year-end closing activities, audit preparations, and process optimizations. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and cross-department collaboration. Accountant will be a part of the North American Corporate office. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate across departments and enhance financial operations within a dynamic and growing organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Be involved in controls and accounting policies standardization

General ledger, balance sheet reconciliations,month end close activities

Collaborate with various departments to confidentially identify and implement workflow improvements within financial operations and supply chain processes.

Prepare and assist with internal and external audits

Analysis of bad debt provisions, accruals, and other critical financial metrics to generate actionable insights.

Support strategic initiatives with ad-hoc financial analyses.

instrumental in month-end and year-end closing procedures, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and producing accurate financial reports.

Lead efforts to enhance financial reporting systems and create best practices as available through technology or process improvement.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

2 years of experience in accounting, including general ledger and financial analysis.

Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.

Strong initiative and aptitude for problem-solving and process improvement.

Experience with month-end close processes and account reconciliations.
