You will be a Manufacturing Engineer with our team in Archbald, PA. Lockheed Martin's Archbald facility specializes in design, manufacturing, and engineering for both domestic and international customers. What You Will Be Doing

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Archbald, PA in the fabrication facilities. Your duties will include:

Interfaces with design, manufacturing, test, quality, and the program office as the product(s) move to completion and distribution

Uses SAP, lean six sigma concepts, and other tools to analyze and design sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel

Tool and fixture design

Establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations

Conducts studies and implements plans pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems

Assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience

Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance

Desired Skills:

Fabrication operations including CNC Machining, Assembly, Painting, Plating, Welding, Production Control and Quality Inspection

Tooling and fixture design including modeling & 3D printing

Green Belt or Black Belt Certifications in lean/six-sigma to drive continuous improvement

Experience interpreting engineering drawings/models including GD&T, materials and finishes and translation to work instructions to mechanics / technicians

Communication and decision-making skills

AWS CWI

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
