The Role

Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.

The incumbent will support team with the development of a network control system.

Must Have

Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of relevant exempt experience;

Master's Degree and 0 year of relevant professional experience

Newport News Shipbuilding requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.

Nice to Have

The ideal candidate will have the following:

Work well in a collaborative work environment

Perform research, be able to manage multiple projects, and develop technical correspondences

Be detail oriented, have some experience with technical writing

Possess excellent communication skills

Experience with agile
