Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 2 for HCA Florida Ocala Hospital in Ocala, Florida.

What You'll Do

The Food Operations Manager 2 will direct and manage all patient feeding operations and lead, mentor and develop a team of approximately 30-40 frontline employees and have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate food service team members. While this role's primary function is patient services, they will have oversight of the retail program as well as moderate involvement with catering.

have oversight of day-to-day operations;

successfully coordinate all required tasks through subordinate managers, supervisors and frontline staff;

achieve company and client financial targets and goals;

develop and maintain client and customer relationships

develop strategic plans;

ensure HACCP, regulatory and standards compliance;

ensure Sodexo standards are met.

What You Bring

have experience leading and managing a team and is a leader who develops and motivates a team to exceed the expectations of clients and customers in service and the technical execution of a healthcare system;

have experience driving customer service and/or guest satisfaction results in a healthcare environment is preferred;

possess strong leadership skills and can work independently to drive program compliance and reach project target dates of completion;

can analyze data, present and effectively communicate to all levels within the organization related to training, leading hospital committees and change management;

have experience effectively managing projects within agreed upon timelines;

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement -Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 2 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
