Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

Shift: 5:30am-4pm Monday-Thursday (optional overtime on Friday/Saturday)

Pay: $17.60/hr

Location: Ocala, FL (34474)

Position Type: Contract to hire

Job Description: The Maintenance Technician will begin each day with a team lead meeting to align on daily goals. The role is primarily focused on preventive maintenance (PM) (about 80% of the time), with the remainder spent on repairs and troubleshooting across various facility systems.

?? Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive maintenance on:

Doors, compressors, air tools

HVAC systems, CNC machines, and facility equipment

Troubleshoot and repair:

Electrical systems (including 480V)

Plumbing (toilets, sinks, urinals, air fittings)

HVAC and hydraulic systems

General facility upkeep:

Replace filters and lightbulbs

Clean equipment and workspaces

Use manuals, schedules, and work orders to guide tasks

Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs

Apply lubricants and grease fittings as needed

Run conduit and pull wire as required

? Qualifications & Experience:

Entry-level experience acceptable

Strong problem-solving mindset

Ability to read and follow technical instructions

Comfortable working with hand and power tools

Work Environment:

Non climate controlled manufacturing facility

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.60 - $22.50/hr.
