A 28-day cycle looks like this:
4 Day Shifts (6 a.m. - 6 p.m.) --- 7 days off
4 Night Shifts (6 p.m. - 6 a.m.) --- 3 days off
3 Day Shifts (6 a.m. - 6 p.m.) --- 1 day off
3 Night Shifts (6 p.m. - 6 a.m.) --- 3 days off
Job Requirements
At least 18 years of age
Minimum high school graduate or GED
Eligible for employment in the US
AND one of the following:
At least three (3) years of work experience in INSTRUMENTATION systems;
OR
At least three (3) years of work experience in ELECTRICAL systems
Must be willing to meet the following requirements:
Work in industrial conditions (may be warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, heavy machinery, elevated working surfaces, and confined spaces (with proper safety training and safety protection)
Undergo technical online testing, interview, and a formal hands-on assessment of skills
Undergo a drug screen for illicit use of drugs as a condition of employment
Undergo a job-related health assessment as a condition of employment
Submit to periodic drug screens as a condition of employment
Work any shift and/or a rotating shift schedule
Work overtime on a regular basis and with last minute notification
Work holidays and/or weekends on a regular basis
Wear required safety equipment
It is preferred that candidates have the following skills and/or experience(s):
Associates degree or certification(s) in Industrial Maintenance or other related disciplines within instrumentation/electrical.
Relevant work experience in an industrial environment.
The Job You Will Perform:
This position will assist journeymen-level Electrical/Instrumentation maintenance technicians in routine maintenance work as well as performing many duties independently. Our world class Global Manufacturing Training program provides paid hands-on experiences and classroom instruction in order to prepare you for your next promotion
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Instrumentation:
Troubleshoot, configure, and maintain:
Instrument (pressure, temperature, analytical, etc.) calibration
installation & repair
control valve
distributed control system
programmable logic controllers
combustion control & burner management systems
Other duties as assigned
Electrician:
Troubleshoot, install, repair, and maintain:
15 kV, 5 kV, and 480 V electrical distribution systems and related equipment
AC variable speed drive systems
Relay based & distributed control systems
Programmable logic controllers and lighting systems
Other duties as assigned
