Parts Clerk / Administrative Assistant
Transdev in Roswell, NM is hiring a Parts Clerk. The Parts Clerk performs basic vehicle servicing, cleaning and
fueling with limited supervision. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to
safety

Key Responsibilities:
Open and close work orders requests.
Run and review reports as needed.
Answers shop telephones and schedule repair appointments.
Maintain vehicle information files.
Take road call information and dispatch mechanics or outside service.
Arrange pick-up of outside repairs.
Receive and stock parts.
Provide counter service.
Clean and organize shelves, bins, racks, etc.
Maintain a clean and orderly parts facility.
Order special (non-stock) parts for repair orders.
Manage cores and parts returns.
Monitor re-order levels and replenish stock.
Maintain files and other related records.
Operate WO / Parts record keeping system as per corporate and customer needs.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous vehicle maintenance administrative experience preferred.
Strong data entry skills.
Computer literate with an advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
Physical Requirements:
The essential functions of this position require the ability to:
Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.
Sit for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
Push and pull objects, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
