Job Title: Installation Technician $22/hr
Job Description
The Installation Technician will be responsible for the installation and repair of fabric or metal buildings. This position involves extensive travel, requiring presence at construction sites for 40 to 50 weeks per year, primarily throughout Iowa. Most projects entail staying on the jobsite for up to a week, with most weekends at home. Overnight travel is required for projects more than two hours away, with accommodation and a meal per diem provided. Crews assemble at the shop in Clermont, IA, and travel to and from job sites using a company truck. Travel time to the jobsite is compensated.
Responsibilities
Affix and position fabric or metal buildings at designated locations and complete the setup process.
Ensure buildings are installed safely without hazards and support optimal functionality.
Carry materials and handle material unloading and staging without the use of forklifts.
Install structural components such as columns, mainframes, girts, purlins, etc.
Perform wall sheeting, insulation, gutter, and downspout installations.
Install windows and doors in buildings.
Maintain tools and equipment in safe working order and assist with inventory as needed.
Maintain and repair buildings as required.
Assemble and set up necessary machinery or equipment using blueprints or diagrams.
Conduct minor concrete work, wood post and I-beam foundations, steel erection, and other associated construction tasks.
Demonstrate willingness to learn new skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Exhibit punctuality, good manners, communication skills, and a well-groomed appearance.
Comply with federal, state, and company policies and procedures.
Essential Skills
Experience with hand and power tools.
General construction experience.
Ability and willingness to travel 40+ weeks per year.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
A valid driver's license or ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
Reliable transportation to meet at the jobsite, shop, or centralized meeting place.
Basic math, writing, and communication skills.
Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 100 lbs.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
