Join the dynamic WellMed/Optum South Region team, where you'll play a key role in supporting B2B resources that enhance collaboration and information sharing across markets. In this impactful role, you'll work closely with local growth teams to develop strategic opportunities that directly support patient growth/retention and strengthen provider and partner relationships. Primary Responsibilities:

Collaborate with regional and local growth teams to identify and develop B2B opportunities that align with strategic objectives

Support the implementation and optimization of tools and resources that enhance cross-functional communication and data sharing

Analyze market trends, competitive intelligence, and internal data to support business development initiatives

Coordinate with internal stakeholders to streamline B2B processes and ensure consistent execution across markets

Assist in the planning and execution of regional strategies aimed at expanding provider networks and partner engagement

Track project milestones, performance metrics, and outcomes to evaluate the effectiveness of B2B initiatives

Develop presentations, reports, and documentation to support growth strategies and stakeholder engagement

Serve as a liaison between corporate functions and local teams to align goals and ensure resource availability

Participate in regional meetings, workshops, and planning sessions to support continuous improvement efforts

Ensure compliance with organizational policies and healthcare regulations in all business development activities

Required Qualifications:

3+ years of marketing experience within a matrix organization

3+ years of experience within sales force

3+ years of experience influencing and collaborating with others

3+ years of experience managing and prioritizing several deliverables

3+ years of experience in a deadline driven environment

3+ years of experience demonstrating organization skills

3+ years of proficiency in Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

Knowledge of or experience in working with Medicare/Medicare Advantage plans

Proven ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity

This position requires Tuberculosis screening as well as proof of immunity to Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis through lab confirmation of immunity, documented evidence of vaccination, or a doctor's diagnosis of disease

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a health care or health plan environment

General knowledge of data and analytics

Basic understanding of various growth channels

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
