About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to take a key role in designing, building, and managing our cloud-based solutions. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of multi-cloud solutions supporting reporting, automation, and low-code tooling. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, technical teams to define and break down complex system requests, champion best practices, and build out solutions that will take our company to the next level of technical enablement.
Responsibilities :
Solution Development and Maintenance:
Develop scalable and secure cloud and software architectures to support business requirements and data flows.
Implement integration strategies using Snowflake, AWS GovCloud, and other FedRAMP approved tools to solution.
Develop and deploy secure applications and any other service level tooling needed to support the Data Platform.
Integrate data from multiple sources such as Snowflake, SQL Server, Excel, and APIs into a multi-cloud environment.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, technical guides, and data dictionaries.
Implement, and manage connectors, integrations, and data models.
Requirements Gathering and Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and decision-makers to gather requirements and ensure the delivery of relevant and actionable systems.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring alignment with the company's data and cloud strategy.
Performance Optimization:
Identify and implement strategies to optimize the performance of internal systems, including improving load times and optimizing query execution.
Data Governance and Security:
Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies, including user access control, data privacy, and sensitive data handling.
Collaborate with IT and data teams to implement secure and scalable data solutions within a multi-cloud infrastructure.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay current with cloud technologies and industry trends to continually enhance performance and capabilities.
Recommend and implement enhancements to improve data visualization techniques, tool utilization, and automation efficiency.
Qualification and Skill Requirements:
Strong knowledge of cloud-based technologies and the major providers, including how to connect and share data in a highly secure and eventful way.
Proven experience in optimizing cloud application performance and troubleshooting performance-related issues.
Battle tested experience with high-volume eCommerce or like platforms known to process millions or more records weekly.
Experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, and leveraging IaaC.
Experience with AWS, Terraform, Python, Typescript, Node.js, and React .
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
Strong communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Education and Experience:
Must be a U.S. citizen due to contractual requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Intelligence, or a related field .
5+ years of hands-on experience developing cloud-based solutions, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
1+ years of hands-on experience architecting cloud-based solutions, preferably with multi-cloud experience or with cloud migration experience
Experience working in agile environments and leading cross-functional teams.

Terraform, python and node.js
AWS GovCloud, FedRAMP, M365 Gov
Snowflake, SQL Server, and other relevant databases
Git, JIRA, or other project management tools

Fraud Alert
