Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Natick, MA. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting key accounting functions, contributing to process enhancements, and assisting with ongoing projects. This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your expertise in accounts payable, financial systems, and workflow optimization.

Responsibilities:

Manage and process accounts payable transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

Assist in maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts to ensure financial accuracy.

Support financial reporting by preparing and reviewing relevant documentation.

Contribute to the improvement of accounting workflows and operational processes.

Collaborate with team members on the implementation and use of Dynamics.

Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.

Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Handle ad hoc accounting tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience in accounts payable and general accounting functions.

Proficiency with Dynamics is highly desirable.

Advanced skills in Excel, including data analysis and reporting.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to process improvement.

Familiarity with accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
