What to expect:
Responsible to monitor and support personnel output and works to actively remove barriers to success identified within area of responsibility. Acts as the first point of contact for associates within area to address both process and personnel concerns.
Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot complex equipment and activities in order to ensure production meets all requirements of the area. Completes set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performs rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. Responsible for following all operating procedures to the highest standard.
Works collaboratively with manufacturing associates, engineering, quality, and leadership to execute on production requirements. Executes engineering experimentations and operational improvement initiatives as requested. Participates on teams to identify opportunities for improvements within production area. May assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.

Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments. Leads lower levels in same discipline.
Maintain and promote a safe work environment at all times. Identify, address, and react to any unsafe or hazardous situation. Conduct safety training for Operations team members and holds all associates accountable for working in a safe manner.
Responsible for meeting quality, efficiency and safety requirements and standards both as an individual contributor and as the Group Lead.

Ensures team members are always adhering to standard operating procedures.
Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot complex equipment and activities in order to ensure production meets all requirements of the area.
Consistently able to meet standard cycle time for production. Ensures team production schedule requirements are achieved. Creates and communicates weekly production schedule and allocates headcount resources adjustments throughout the week as required to ensure production targets are achieved. Read, interpret, and analyze schematics and blueprints required to ensure proper calibration of equipment.
Able to apply expert level working knowledge of test equipment required within Operations area independently.
Report all non-conformances and complete NCEs as appropriate. Review non-conforming materials for accuracy and manages daily NCE process to support MRB material disposition.
Ensure that processes are developed and executed in a manner which supports all Hologic Quality Standards. Focuses on continuous improvement of processes and challenges current conventions to drive improvement.
Independently performs and/or leads root cause investigations with Operations team utilizing advanced troubleshooting tools. Assist other associates within area with troubleshooting.
Complete all training requirements in a timely manner and maintain accurate training records. Ensures all training completed on-time within area.
Conduct inventory transactions to maintain integrity of inventory system.
Timely and complete processing of work order transactions utilizing Oracle system.
Utilize Oracle and Agile to retrieve necessary documentation and ensure accurate information.
Skillset:
Proficient working understanding of Microsoft Office platform including Excel, Word, SharePoint, and OneDrive required.
Ability to read, understand, and follow all written procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
High-level of attention to detail and focus on quality.
Detail oriented and accurate.
Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
Trained to execute 5+ roles within the Operations team and cross-trained into 1+ role outside core functional area.
Certified as a Subject Matter Expert for 3+ roles within the Operations team.
Knowledge of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) handling best practices is beneficial.
Education & Experience
Preferred Minimum Non-Technical Degree: High School (H.S./GED) or Associate Degree
Preferred Minimum Non-Technical Degree: 5+ Years
Experience with Oracle ERP system and Agile Product Lifecycle Management system is beneficial.
The annualized base salary range for this hourly role is $63,000-$93,000 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
