As a Test Engineer Lead on an Enterprise Zero Trust Program for a DoD client, your responsibilities will include:
Developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks.
Defining test scope, identifying test cases, and establishing test methodologies.
Creating comprehensive testing documentation to ensure thorough and consistent testing.
Determining the most critical areas for testing and focus resources accordingly.
Ensuring that testing documentation is accurate, complete, and meets quality standards.
Tracking testing activities, identifying potential issues, and taking corrective action to stay on schedule and within budget.
Timely execution and reporting of test results are crucial for meeting project deadlines.
Documenting and tracking defects, ensuring they are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
Collaborating with developers to ensure that defects are understood, prioritized, and fixed promptly.
Performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
Ensuring that defects are categorized and prioritized based on severity and impact on the project.
Mentoring, coaching, and guiding team members to ensure they meet performance expectations and contribute to the team's success.
Effectively distribute work based on individual skills and experience to ensure efficient and timely completion of testing activities.
Assessing team members' performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback to help them develop their skills.
Recruiting, onboarding, and developing talent within the testing team to ensure they have the necessary skills and expertise to meet project requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
5-8 years' experience in Test Engineering
4 years' experience in the development and execution of test plans and test scripts
Ability to work independently in a self-directed manner.
Ability to work well with others, including management and various engineering disciplines.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Required Skills/Knowledge:
Experience troubleshooting at the system level (hardware and software).
Experience writing automated acceptance testing.
Experience with issue tracking software.
Experience with one or more testing frameworks.
Experience with system and network integration testing.
Desired Skills/Knowledge:
Experience leading in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Experience with DoD acceptance testing requirements for complex systems.
Current Secret clearance

The likely salary range for this position is $102,000 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
