PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Administrative Assistant will perform advanced business office activities associated with servicing residential, commercial, public authority, and industrial customers. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Customer service, information processing, interfacing with contractors and personnel in other departments

Maintain customer related records (manual, mainframe, SAP, and computer based)

Warehouse materials management of inventory related to daily construction and customer service activities.

Perform various other functions including payroll processing, document filing, and preparing completion reports

Offer support at alternate locations as required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent

Valid driver's license

Proficient in typing, data entry, and Microsoft office programs

Three to five years of advanced administrative/clerical experience

Excellent customer service/communication skills in person and via telephone

Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally

Basic literacy skills. The ability to read, accurately interpret and analyze written information and legibly prepare written documentation

Candidates must be able to work Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Technical Business school degree

Experience using SAP and/or PeopleSoft applications

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This is a position within the Company's collective bargaining unit with a starting rate of pay of $27.26/hr, after 6 months $28.26/hr, and 1 year $29.26/hr.
