Role Overview

The Good Eating Company is hiring our Food Operations Manager for a corporate account in Foster City, CA. Our successful candidate will manage day to day operations in our Cafe, promotional signage, some light cash handling, light ordering, invoicing and managing our FOH Staff.

SodexoMagic is the joint venture partnership between NBA Hall of Famer, Earvin "Magic" Johnson, and Sodexo. We deliver food, facilities management and integrated services to corporations, healthcare facilities, K-12 schools, colleges and universities and aviation lounges. This strategic alliance between Magic Johnson Enterprises and Sodexo, Inc., enables us to deliver creative solutions to our clients along with our local partners throughout the communities we serve.

What You'll Do

Manage Signage and light cash handling

Manage Day to Day operations in Cafe

Manage some light ordering, invoicing

Develop and maintain client and customer relationships

Managing and provide professional development for the FOH Staff

Ensure Sodexo standards are met to include compliance with company food and physical safety programs

What You Bring

Strong leadership skills

Demonstrated history of encouraging and retaining the front of the house team

A work history demonstrating strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization

Demonstrate working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems as well as menu graphics programs

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degreeor equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 2 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
