Job Description
Responsibilities
Manage ~$15m budget for Growth and Marketing and identify opportunities for cost reductions and maximization of returns.
Drive the governance, reporting and analytics around service pricing and revenue.
Provide strategic and proactive leadership as a finance partner to help grow the Service business and advise on growth opportunities based on insights derived from Regional and Segments Service financial performance.
Design standard process and tools in the field for decisions on deal economics. Implement process and governance to drive consistency in service deal analytics.
Partner with Growth and Marketing Leaders, Region Finance Leaders and Segment Finance Leaders to operationalize O&U and digital revenue growth, pricing and increased capture rate.
Develop new service financial processes for pricing DOA, subscription revenue recognition model, and subscription cost to serve. Drive standardization across regions and segments including implementation in Apttus, price reporting etc.
Validate Service Suite numbers and identify opportunity to automate reporting
Implement standardization and analytics for backlog reporting.
Support Growth and Marketing Leaders in analyzing return of investments of managed programs and identify opportunities to reduce spend when possible.
Drive Lean process improvements for commercial reporting and tools.
Monitor the financial performance of an acquired company or partnership and the associated revenue and/or VCP tied to its KPIs
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (Economics, Finance, Accounting, etc.) from an accredited university or college
8 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis and reporting
Experience with determining the best financial arrangements with inorganic growth opportunities (deal structures, financial system and process integration knowledge)
Skills in advising the segments on terms for negotiations, that are favorable for the company (tax implications, financing options, and regulatory compliance)
Ability to align financial strategies with the overall business strategy (Long-Term Strategy)
Desired Characteristics
Competency in advanced analytic tools such as Domo, Power BI, Alteryx, Spotfire, etc.
Graduate of GE's Financial Management Program (FMP), Experienced Financial Leadership Program (EFLP) or Corporate Audit Staff (CAS); or graduate of other financial leadership programs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear/concise manner.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and drive change while working across a variety of stakeholders.
Adaptable, flexible. Open to change (positive or negative) in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations.
Strong critical thinking skills & demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Established project management skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $139,200.00-$208,800.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
