Your Opportunity
This full-time role is about making an impact on people's lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As an Engineering Administrative Assistant in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Products & Engineering Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit. This position works under general supervision and requires a certain degree of creativity and latitude. Your work will include:
Performs general administrative tasks in support of Supervisors and Project Engineers
Utilizes standard functions within MS Office
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Handle intermediate level administrative tasks with accuracy, speed, and timeliness
Respond to administrative issues and promptly refer technical/supervisory issues to appropriate personnel
Utilize MS Word and Excel to create, edit, and distribute routine documents, such as monthly reports, technical documents, presentations, and manuals
Maintain hard copy and electronic files for subcontractors, to include customer information, internal company records such as vacation log, training needs, timekeeping reports, personnel files, and general department files
Process requests for facilities maintenance work orders, printing, and equipment maintenance/repair.
Make travel arrangements
Submit expense reports and reconcile discrepancies. May approve expense reports on behalf of Supervisors.
Process Purchase Order Requests
Maintain Accuris Library and support the Framatome Technical Library
May approve timecards on behalf of supervisors
Maintain office supplies
Participate in coordination and arrangements for meetings (materials, etc.) and may take notes when necessary
Demonstrates working knowledge of department/location, general office, and work unit procedures
Demonstrates good judgment in setting priorities
May assist or perform as "back-up" for more senior assistant
As directed, assists manager in coordination and/or tracking of routine projects.

Your Total Rewards Package
The range of base salary for the position is between $19.20 - $25.10 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
