We are currently seeking a Research and Development Design Engineer to join a passionate team focused on advancing cancer treatment solutions through cutting-edge biotechnology. Pay: Up to $58/hr. | Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of embolic coils with a focus on quality and performance. Apply mechanical design principles to create and optimize coil designs that balance multiple requirements. Develop detailed product design plans, including sequential and dependent testing strategies. Clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and regulatory teams to drive project success. Manage expectations and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Perform testing and validation to ensure designs meet regulatory and clinical standards. Stay current with advancements in embolic coil technology and implement best practices. Gather user feedback by interfacing with physicians and cath lab personnel. Provide training and guidance to technicians and junior engineers as needed.
