Windows Systems Administrator

ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Windows Systems Administrator to join our team in Fairmont, WV .

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

Configures and manages Windows-based servers, workstations, and laptops.

Responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems. System administrator will ensure the uptime, performance, resources, and security of the computers they manage meet the needs of the users.

Uses scripting or basic programming skills to solve problems.

Installs and configures Windows systems including back-end databases and scripts.

Performs systems maintenance by reviewing error logs.

Minimum Qualifications:

2 + Years Experience in Windows Systems Administration.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar Information Technology focused major. A degree can be substituted for 4 years of additional experience.

Experience in Windows environments.

Ability to troubleshoot issues with Windows systems.

Experienced with large enterprise scale Windows systems.

Ability to perform Security checks.

Ability to solve a range of problems independently.

Security Clearance Requirements:

Must be a US Citizen and have a current/active Top Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.

Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
